This image was designed to promote the international art tour of The Ray Lowry London Calling Project 2010. The tour itself takes in London, New York and Tokyo and is an exhibition of Ray Lowry's art during his time with The Clash. The exhibition also showcases current artists such as Tracey Emin, Harry Hill, and many others interpretations of the iconic London Calling album cover. This modern, contemporary, take on the album cover converts the image of Paul Jones smashing his guitar on stage into a sharp, concise image for the 21st Century.
This design is licensed by the artist Ray Lowry and a commission from each sale goes directly to them.
